Business Basics series takes place during the lunch hour (Noon to 1
p.m.) on the third Thursday of each month at the Hal Holmes Community
Center, 209 N Ruby Street. The series is free to the public. The
next session will be May 15th
and will be discussing, The Medici Effect: What Elephants and
Epidemics Can Teach Us About Innovation by Frans Johansen. Johansson
argues that innovations occur when people see beyond their expertise and
approach situations actively, with an eye toward putting available
materials together in new combinations. Contra Dances - Hal Holmes
Come Contra dance at the Hal Holmes Community Center the first Saturday of every month, 7:30-10:30.

Kittitas County City Libraries Initiate Reciprocal Borrowing
Ellensburg Public Library
Cards for Residents of Cle Elum, Roslyn and Kittitas. This means that
anyone who has a library card in good standing at their home library,
the one owned and operated by the city in which he or she resides, may
get a library card at any of the other public libraries in the county at
no charge.
