Book Barn Used Book Sale
The Book Barn houses a collection of used books, CDs, DVDs, and jigsaw puzzles for sale, donated by community members and the Library. The sale is located in the Hal Holmes basement and is open every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. This sale is the Friends' primary fundraising source to support its mission.
The Friends also have two major book sales upstairs in the Hal Holmes Auditorium each year.
Book Club Tea
Each April the Friends sponsor a book club tea social with a speaker, fine desserts, and teas. The event is held the third Monday in April at the Hal Holmes Community Center from 7-9 p.m. This free event is open to all. Book Club reading lists
